Practical issues surrounding the
The following information is already good to know when it comes to the program of Scout-Up Your Summer. Note, the summer of 2020 is still far away; this information will be tightened up and supplemented in the near future!
On Saturday 4, 11 and 18 July 2020 you can set up your tent from 13:00. On Saturday 11, 18 and 25 July, we request that the site be delivered clean by 11:00.
Many activities are on site and accessible on foot. The activities that take place outside the site can be reached by bicycle. You as a group are responsible for this transport. You can do that by taking your bikes with you, taking enough cars with you as leaders and/or renting bicycles at the Scouting Estate for the necessary moments. Information about renting bicycles can be found in the registration form.
Participation of leaders
In a number of activities, the participation of leaders is expected, for example as a post during a game or as an accompaniment. At the time of registration you can indicate how much leaders you have at least available for the activities where this is necessary. Together with all participating groups we make Scout-Up a success!
Daily leader meeting and tickets
Tickets are needed for some activities; for example tickets for an amusement park or participation certificates for external activities. Every evening there is a leader meeting at 20.00 in the central tent where someone from your group is expected. He or she will receive the tickets for the next day for your group. At this meeting it is also discussed at which activities help is expected from the leaders, the tasks are divided, the service staff tells about the camp duties and you can ask questions.
